PGCET result and rank list

The PGCET result is published as a rank card, calculated against the final answer key, separately for each stream (MBA, MCA, M.Tech/M.E./M.Arch). Your rank determines which colleges and specialisations you can realistically target in counselling.

How the rank is calculated

Unlike KCET and DCET, PGCET rank is based purely on your marks in that stream's 100-question paper — your degree marks aren't factored in at all. Ranks are prepared and published separately per stream, since MBA, MCA and M.Tech/M.E./M.Arch candidates compete within their own pool rather than against each other. Worth knowing: the mark-to-rank relationship isn't linear — around the middle of the scoreboard, where thousands of candidates cluster closely, a few extra marks can move you a thousand ranks or more, while the same few marks move you far less near the very top where the field thins out.

• Overall PGCET rank (within your stream) and category-wise rank
• Marks scored against the final answer key
• Eligibility status for counselling

Site down or "HTTP 503" on result day?

KEA's servers run the same infrastructure across KCET, PGCET and DCET, and have a documented history of buckling under result-day traffic — every official link returning HTTP 503: Service Unavailable for hours is a capacity problem, not a sign your specific result is missing. Wait and retry during off-peak hours rather than repeatedly refreshing; if you're getting a different error (like a login failure), double-check your application number and password first, since that's a separate and more common cause than server load.
