KCET admit card

The KCET admit card (hall ticket) is released on the official KEA portal roughly two weeks before the exam, and is downloaded using your application number and date of birth or password.
For the 2026 cycle, KEA released the admit card on April 11, 2026, about twelve days ahead of the exam. The 2027 date will be added here once KEA announces the 2027 exam schedule, but expect a similar gap before the exam date.
How to download
- Go to the official KEA CET portal.
- Log in with your application number and password (or date of birth, depending on the year's portal design).
- Download and print the admit card in colour, on plain A4 paper.
- Check every printed detail immediately: name, photograph, exam centre, category, and subjects. Contact KEA well before exam day if anything is wrong.
Admit card won't download? Try these first
This is one of the most common problems every cycle, usually from server load right after release, not something wrong with your specific application. In rough order of what actually fixes it for most candidates:
- Try a different browser or device. Login and OTP failures are frequently browser/cache-specific — candidates consistently report smoother downloads after switching.
- Try off-peak hours. Heavy simultaneous traffic right after release is the single biggest cause of failures; the portal is usually far more responsive a few hours later or early morning.
- Double-check your login details. Passwords are case-sensitive, and stray leading/trailing spaces in the application number or password field are a common invisible cause of "invalid" errors.
- Switch networks. A different Wi-Fi or mobile data connection resolves it in many reported cases.

What to bring on exam day
- Printed admit card
- A valid original photo ID (as specified in that year's instructions)
- Items permitted under that year's exam-day rules (typically a basic geometry box where allowed; electronic devices are generally prohibited)
Exact permitted and prohibited items change slightly year to year. Always follow the instructions printed on your admit card over any general guidance.
Reporting time: there is no grace period for late arrival
Reported reporting-time and gate-closing figures vary a bit by source — commonly cited windows range from arriving 30–60 minutes before the session start, with gates closing anywhere from 10–30 minutes before the exam begins depending on the year and centre. What's consistent across every source is the practical rule that actually matters: KCET has no grace period for late arrival. Once the gate closes, you are not entitled to enter even a few minutes late, with no exceptions for traffic or genuine emergencies. Don't plan your journey around the minimum figure — treat your admit card's own printed reporting time as the real deadline, and build in buffer for the unexpected.
