Counter Verification & BEO Attestation
During KEA verification, the verification officer scrutinizes your SSLC marks card, 2nd PUC/12th marks, 7-year study certificates counter-signed by the BEO/DDPU, and caste/income certificates with matching RD numbers. Always bring original certificates plus at least 4 attested photocopies.

7-Year Karnataka Study Certificate
MandatoryMust prove minimum 7 continuous academic years from 1st to 12th standard in Karnataka, counter-signed by BEO.
Rural Study Certificate (1 to 10th Std)
If Claiming Quota10 complete academic years in a designated rural area, counter-signed by BEO.
Kannada Medium Study Certificate
If Claiming Quota10 complete academic years from 1st to 10th in Kannada medium, counter-signed by BEO.
Hyderabad-Karnataka 371(J) Eligibility (Form 8)
If Claiming QuotaIssued by Assistant Commissioner for Kalyana Karnataka region reservation.
SNQ Income Certificate
If Claiming QuotaProving family annual income is below ₹8.00 Lakhs for 5% supernumerary quota seat waiver.
Karnataka Candidature Clauses (Clause A to G)
Determine which legal eligibility clause applies to your admission candidature:
Candidate studied for a minimum of 7 academic years in Karnataka from 1st to 12th standard and passed SSLC or 2nd PUC in Karnataka.
Candidate passed 11th and 12th in Karnataka AND either parent has studied for minimum 7 years in Karnataka.
Candidate and either parent's mother tongue is Kannada/Tulu/Kodava AND parent has resided in Karnataka for at least 11 years.
Candidate whose mother tongue is Kannada, Tulu, or Kodava, residing outside Karnataka in disputed border areas.
Children of Kannadiga parents settled outside Karnataka or in notified border regions.
Son or daughter of serving or retired Defense personnel who declared Karnataka as home town or served in Karnataka.
Children of Ex-servicemen who declared Karnataka as home town at the time of joining armed forces.
